Western Washington University Department of Anthropology seeks a Biological/Physical Anthropologist to fill a 1 year Visiting Assistant Professor position beginning Fall 2018. The successful candidate will teach: Anthropology 215, Introduction to Physical Anthropology with Lab, Anthropology 420, Human Osteology and Forensics with Lab, Anthropology 423, Human Evolution, and Anthropology 350, Ecology of Human Variation. These courses are a major component of a pre med / allied health track, as well as preparation for graduate study. An additional course complimenting the Department’s offerings is also possible. Additional face to face and/or online courses are possible during the summer 2018 and summer 2019 terms. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in hand at the time of appointment and successful undergraduate teaching experience in relevant courses. Pay commensurate with experience, benefit package available.
