The University of Virginia’s interdisciplinary program in Women Gender & Sexuality (WGS) invites applicants for a three-year non-tenure track appointment as Lecturer in LGBTQ Studies, to begin August 25, 2014. Field of specialization within LGBTQ Studies is open, but candidates in any area of science, especially LGBTQ Health, are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates from the humanities and social sciences are also welcome. Duties include teaching, research, and service to the WGS Program, College of Arts & Sciences, and University. Review of applications will begin on November 1, and will continue until the position is filled. Applicants must be on track to receive a Ph.D. in the relevant field by May 2014 and must hold a Ph.D. at the time of appointment.
