Lead Researcher – Cancer Health Disparities Initiative (CHDI)

The Cancer Health Disparities Initiative (CHDI) at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health would like to make you aware of a new employment opportunity with our program.

 

The mission of CHDI is to increase the capacity of communities, and the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center members, to reduce inequities in cancer burden through research, outreach and education. The Lead Researcher (PVL #83792) will lead CHDI research activities and work with CHDI’s Program Director, PI and other faculty to develop and support implementation of cancer research projects.

 

Position requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field, and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience is preferred.  Successful candidates will have a strong interest in applied research in population health and health disparities. They will have a mix of organizational, analytical, and writing skills and a strong foundation in research methods. Successful candidates will have demonstrable experience researching and writing materials for professional and lay audiences and experience coaching both professional and lay persons in the conduct of research and program evaluation.
