JOB: Department of Anthropology and Museum Studies, College of the Sciences, Central Washington University

The Department of Anthropology and Museum Studies, in the College of the Sciences at Central Washington University, invites applications for a full-time, lecturer for the 2015-2016 (9/15/15-6/15/16) academic year. The successful candidate will have expertise in medical anthropology and one or more of the following: environmental anthropology, cultures of Native North America or Latin America.

 

The position includes teaching multiple sections of Anthropology 130, Introduction to Cultural Anthropology and upper division courses in medical anthropology and one or more of the following: environmental anthropology, cultures of Native North America or Latin America.

 

Candidates will have Ph.D. in Anthropology, with an emphasis in cultural anthropology and expertise in medical anthropology.

 

Preferred qualifications include

Teaching experience

Ability to teach environmental anthropology

Expertise in cultures of Native North America or Latin America.
